I worked with Linda at PK Jewellers. We had good times at work, most of the time it didn't feel we were at work as all the girls all got on so well. Lots of fun & laughter. They were good times. Coriander, Linda, Wendy, Janet, Judith & myself would meet up outside work to celebrate Birthdays etc. Linda enjoyed serving the customers, it gave her a break from doing the paperwork!! Linda didn't like cleaning the jewellery. I enjoyed doing that & I would joke with Linda that she could do the cleaning, whilst I did something else - that never happened!! Linda was very good at her job - a great asset to PK. When Linda started her treatment she continued to work from home, doing the paperwork. Linda said that it kept her busy & gave her something else to think about. Linda would sometimes pop into PK with her friend Sheila or on her own. If I knew that Linda was coming into PK & I was off, I would ask one if the girls to text me to let me know when Linda was there as I wanted to see her. Linda made lovely scones & cheese straws which she would bring in for us all to enjoy. Linda would say 'the scones are only out of the freezer, nothing special'. They were always delicious. Linda loved Marzipan Sweets & Ginger Icecream - I would buy these for Linda as a little treat for her.

It was a pleasure working with Linda. I have lots of lovely memories of my time working at PK Jewellers.

Linda will be greatly missed.
